Hello bookworms!!
I started this Bookshelf Challenge back in August as a way to help me read more of my owned books and today I am here to talk about how I did in September and to share my October Bookshelf Challenge TBR. If you want to know all of the rules you can read those here. In addition to those rules I have decided to allow myself to switch out one book if one comes up that I just don’t want to read at the time. So if you’ve seen my September Wrap Up Post you know that September was my worst reading month yet. Anyways here’s what I should have read in September and what I actually read.
I didn’t finish any of these but I did start two of them. I started Fairest by Marissa Meyer and read 12 pages of it. I also Started Highland Fire by Veronica Sattler and read 25 pages of it. I didn’t get very far into either one of them but since I did start them I am carrying them over into October. Letters to the Lost was a carry over from August but I still didn’t get to it so I put it back on my shelf for now. Now lets talk about the three rolls for October
First Roll #33 – The 33rd book on my shelf was Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. I don’t really know what this book is about but I have heard it talked about a pretty good bit so I am looking forward to finally reading this one.
Second Roll #3 – The 3rd book on my shelf was Northern Nights by Theresa Scott. This was one of the historical romances I got in the mystery box I ordered a few months back. Honestly right now I’m not really in the mood for it so I might switch this one out. I don’t even know what it’s about so after I read the synopsis I might be more interested in reading it.
Third Roll #107 – The 107th book on my shelf was The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black but I haven’t read The Wicked King yet so that’s the one I am going to be reading. I have been meaning to continue on with this series ever since reading the first book so I am really looking forward to getting into this one.
Those are the 3 books I hope to read in October as well as the 2 I am carrying over from September. At this point I will just be happy to read anything so we will see if October treats me better than September did.
I enjoyed Eleanor and Park, I hope you do as well.
