Day-A-Thon Wrap Up

Wrap Up

Hello bookworms!!

I participated in Day-A-Thon this weekend from 8pm Friday night to 8pm Saturday night and today I am here to let y’all know how I did. For the past few days I have been dealing with some computer/Wordpress issues so that took away some of my reading time but I was actually able to finish a book which was my plan so I am happy. Anyways here’s what I read.

The Wicked King

I started the readathon by picking up The Wicked King by Holly Black. I read this until about 10 because my husband was getting ready to go to bed. I manged to read 88 pages in that time which brought me to page 108 since I had read 20 pages before the readathon started. I took a little reading break (sort of) and played some games on my phone and also caught up on everyone’s blog posts from that day which is technically reading. After that I started reading my ebook around 11 as to not keep my husband awake.

A Class Act

I had previously started this book as well so I was starting at the 6% mark. I managed to make it to the 20% mark which means I read 14% of the book before I called it a night around 12:30. Normally I can stay up later than that but I didn’t sleep well the night before so I was very tired.

Saturday morning my husband went fishing and I rode with him. While he’s fishing I like to sit in the car and read. Of course he fishes in different places so when we are driving I can’t read. I don’t actually know how much I read while he was fishing. I forgot to keep track of that. When we got home is when I was trying to fix my computer/Wordpress but I still managed to read this book and finished it right before 7pm. And if you’re wondering if my computer/Wordpress is working the answer is yes. Even though I had an hour left in the readathon I decided I didn’t want to read anymore that night.

  • Books Read – 2
  • Books Finished – 1

Did you participate in this readathon? How did you do? I am really happy with what I was able to read and I look forward to the next round hopefully next month.
