My Week In Books 12/7 – 12/13

Hello bookworms!!

I have finally had a good reading week for the first time in what feels like forever. I don’t have much else to say so lets get straight to the books.

~ Recently Finished ~

I finally finished Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco after almost a month of reading it. My reading has been awful lately which is why it took me so long to get through it. I did really enjoy it though just like I knew I would. I also finished Song of Susannah by Stephen King. I started this Friday and finished it on Sunday just in time for the group discussion. The only reason I was able to get through that one so fast is because I stayed up until 1:30 two nights in a row. Lastly I read Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: A Couple of Misfits. My husband bought this as a gag gift but of course I read it. I mean it’s an easy quick read to get through to help me with my reading goals and Rudolph is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies. The book was cute but also definitely meant for really little kids.

~ Currently Reading ~

Haven’t made any progress in the first two books as usual. I’m 257 pages into On The Come Up by Angie Thomas which is a little over halfway through. I’m buddy reading this book with Erin and we are only reading 9 chapters a week so this will be on the currently reading shelf for at least another week or so.

~Reading Next ~

I have absolutely no clue. At this point I am kind of just picking up books as I want to read them and I haven’t thought past my current reads. I would like to get in some Christmas books this month so my next read will hopefully be Christmasy.
