This Week In Books

My Week In Books 12/21 – 12/27

Hello bookworms!!

My reading for the year has come to an end. I finished my last book of 2020 last night/this morning. I stayed up until 2am because I wanted to finish one more book in 2020. I will be reading another book but I want be finishing anything else this year. Anyways here’s what my reading looked like for the past week.

~ Recently Finished ~

I read The Night Before Christmas for the first time on Christmas Eve. I might have read it or had it read to me when I was a kid but I don’t remember so I am sticking to it being the first time I’ve read it. I really enjoyed it and I will for sure read it every year from now on. Lastly the book I stayed up until 2am to finish was A Class Act. Honestly I don’t really know how I feel about this one yet. There were a lot of things in it that I didn’t care for like cheating but there were also some things I liked.

~ Currently Reading ~

Nothing!! I cleared out my Goodreads currently reading shelf. I did put one book back on the want to read shelf for later but the rest of them I actually read.

~Reading Next ~

Anne of Ingleside

Erin and I are continuing on with our Anne of Green Gables series readalong. We are up to book 6 now which is Anne of Ingleside. I won’t be finishing this in 2020 but I will be starting it. And thanks to Cassie I own all 8 books now so I can follow along in the book while I listen to the audiobook. Aside from that I don’t know what I am going to be reading next. I need to decide what book I want to start my year off with. I am going to leave a link to my owned TBR shelf on Goodreads if you feel like it scroll through it and comment what book you think I should start my year off reading.

What have you recently finished reading? What do you plan to read next? What are you currently reading?

    1. I read the first book for the first time last year and then reread it this year and continued in with the series because I’m buddy reading it. The first book is definitely my favorite and I could see myself rereading these.

      1. It’s been awhile since I read them but I distinctly remember not really liking the last book in the series because it doesn’t follow Anne. I need to do a reread so I can do a proper ranking of them haha

      2. I should be getting through the last three books in the first 3 months of the year. I’ve already started in book 6. I’ve loved following Anne but I’ve also wanted more of the other characters so maybe I will end up liking the last book but we shall see.
