Favorite Books Of 2020

Hello bookworms!!

I’m pretty sure I say this every year but these types of posts are always so hard for me to do because I have a lot to choose from and it’s hard to narrow down. Plus I love so many books for so many different reasons. I gave 12 books a 5 star rating and 43 books a 4 or a 4.5 star rating. Anyways here are my favorite books of 2020 in no particular order.

I went into this book with no expectations really. I thought it sounded like something I would like because I love me some romance but beyond that I didn’t have any expectations. I came out of it loving everything about it. I loved the romance which was steamier than I expected but amazing and the humor. This was a 5 star read and you can read my review for it here.

Anne of Green Gables is technically a reread but I did continue on with the series. I Have been absolutely loving following along Anne as she’s grown up throughout each of the books and I just love her character and how imaginative she is. You can read my review for the first book here and the second book here and I gave both of them 5 stars.

This book was everything I was wanting at the time. Yes it was predictable but it was a cutesy romance and I loved it. It got 5 stars as well and you can read my full review here.

This book got a 4.5 star rating from me because it was a little to much politics for me especially in the last half but the rest of it was amazing. It was so cute and adorable and funny with the perfect amount of awkwardness. I was getting the same gushy feelings for the romance in this book that I did for the romance in Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda. Read my full review here.

I don’t read a whole lot of sci-fi but I decided to give this one a go because I follow this authors blog and we’ve become friends and I wanted to support him. I went into it with no expectations and ended up being blown away. It wasn’t over the top with all the science bits and for it being a short story the author pulled me in immediately and had me on the edge of my seat with anticipation. I ended up giving this 4.5 stars because I wanted more. You can read my review here.
