I am starting to feel like a broken record with my reviews for the Anne of Green Gables series. I am liking each of the books but they all have the same issues which is very annoying at this point. This book follows Anne’s kids as well as a few other kids. We barely get any Anne which is a bummer because she is the reason I have continued on with each of the books I just love her character. I’m liking seeing what all of the kids get up to and find it kind of funny but at the same time it is just the same story we’ve read in previous books just with different characters.

I am not fully familiar with the original Sleeping Beauty story aside from the fact that the princess is in a deep sleep and true loves kiss will wake her up. That is all I really know about the story so I can’t really comment on how similar this story is to the original. I did enjoy this one while I was reading it but once I finished it I was just like oh ok. I wasn’t expecting it to end the way it did. I won’t say why because it could be a spoiler but I was kind of let down by how it ended. Overall it was an ok story.

This was amazing. I read this because of The Swoon Sisters Book Club. I joined this book club just so I could read more romance. I went into this book with no expectations and finished it absolutely loving it. I stayed up late the first night I started listening to it and I’m surprised I didn’t wake up my husband because I was laughing so much. It was very steamy and I have to say listening to the steamy scenes did make it a little cringy at times but that only happened a couple times throughout the book. Also I would have liked for Nicholas to have groveled a little more in the end because he didn’t deserve to be forgiven that easily in my opinion but I still really loved it.
When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon

I am so glad I finally read this because I really enjoyed it. I can’t speak for the representation in this book so I definitely recommend searching for own voices reviews. I thought this was a cute romance that also had me laughing out loud. You will definitely have a wide range of emotions while reading this book. I loved Dimple. She wasn’t afraid to be herself and stand up for herself and what she wants. Rishi is just as amazing. He also stands up for what he believes and he loves hard and will do anything for those he cares about.
great reviews! I so want to read When Dimple Met Rishi.

Great reviews Misty. You have quite a variety here, from wholesome Anne to steamy, auditory sex scenes. 🤣🤣 I am glad you enjoyed them all for the most part.

I always say I will read pretty much anything no matter the genre so long as the synopsis sounds interesting/intriguing to me.

Hah, I know what you mean about steamy romance and audio–it feels a bit creeper sometimes! I made the mistake once and now I just read them on ebook haha. Glad you enjoyed that one though, it sounds fun!

I typically don’t have issues with listening to romance audiobooks. They don’t usually bother me but there was something the guy said in the story and the way the narrator did it was just a little cringe to me. I wish I could remember exactly what it was but I can’t now. Thank you I really enjoyed it.
