Hello bookworms!!
I was nominated for the 27th time by Stephen from Stephen Writes for the Sunshine Blogger Award. I can’t believe I still get nominated for this award. Thanks to everyone who has ever nominated me it truly means the world to me and thank you so much to Stephen for this latest nomination. If you aren’t following him already you definitely should be.
What is the Sunshine Blogger Award?
The Sunshine Blogger Award is given to those who are creative, positive and inspiring while spreading sunshine to the blogging community.
The Rules:
- Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their blog.
- Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you.
- Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.
- List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award in your post/or on your blog.
Stephen’s Questions:
1.) How would you describe your blog in just one sentence?
Hmmm…. I would say that it’s a place where I talk about a multitude of books across different genres. My mind went completely blank when I read this question so the answer is horrible lol.
2.) What are your favorite blog posts to write?
Honestly I like all blog posts except for reviews because I am horrible at writing reviews.
3.) Of all the books you own, which one has the nicest cover?
Ok so a lot of my books are in storage and I can’t remember what all of the covers look like but how could you ask me to answer this Stephen? I love different covers for different reasons why must you make me choose. I think I am going to go with Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco because it’s the first book I thought of but like I said I love different covers for different reasons.
4.) Do you have any reading goals for 2020? If so, how are you getting on?
Ok wow so I just realized that Stephen tagged me almost a year ago now to do this so sorry it has taken me so long to actually do this tag Stephen. I don’t think I had any reading goals for 2020 besides my Goodreads reading challenge and that was to read 100 books but I didn’t quite make that goal.
5.) Do you prefer standalone books or those with sequels?
Honestly I don’t really have a preference because I enjoy both. I will say that there are some standalones that I wish had sequels but for the most part I am happy with standalones being standalones and I am happy with series.
6.) Which country or place would you most like to visit?
There are so many places I would love to be able to visit like Paris or California or the Bahamas. I mean I can literally sit here and list so many different places but we would be here all day.
7.) If you were stranded on a desert island with only one book, which one would it be
Umm again Stephen why would you ask such a question? I literally cannot pick just one book that I would want to be stranded on a desert island with I mean there are so many that I love that it’s hard to narrow down to one.
8.) Which book do you always find yourself recommending to people?
I don’t actually find myself recommending books to people. I will write my reviews for books I have read and people have told me they were going to add it to their TBR but I’ve never recommended one specific book to everyone.
9.) What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I just love being able to talk about books and my love of books with like minded people and the community is amazing and so welcoming and helpful.
10.) Would you ever consider writing a book?
Nope! I’ve never wanted to write a book. I am perfectly happy just reading other peoples stories.
11.) What makes you decide that you want to read a book (synopsis, cover, positive reviews etc.)?
Of course covers are the first thing that pulls me to a book but I will not add it to my TBR until I have read the synopsis. If the synopsis sounds intriguing to me then I will add it to my TBR to read eventually. The same goes for if someone has recommended it to me. I always have to read the synopsis. I very rarely read reviews for books I haven’t read yet because I am scared of getting spoiled.
I’m not going to be tagging anyone this time because I am lazy but just know that every single one of you reading this right now deserves this award.
Congratulations!!
