Hello bookworms!!

I was tagged by Nadia from The Journeying Bibliophile back in September. I’m sorry it has taken me so long to do this tag Nadia and thank you so much for considering me as well. If you aren’t already you should go and follow Nadia’s blog.

Nadia’s Questions:

Do you have a go to coffee order

I don’t really drink a lot of coffee. If I get a coffee from Starbucks it’s usually a White Chocolate Mocha with extra sweetener or a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. At home I will usually have a French Vanilla Cappuccino. But I very rarely drink coffee.

How have you been coping with 2020?

So 2020 wasn’t really all that different for me. I was already a stay at home wife so nothing really changed for me. The only thing I did different was wear a mask when I went anywhere and used hand sanitizer both of which I am still doing.

What has been the most disappointing read of the year?

I shared my Most Disappointing reads of 2020 on my blog but one that was really a bummer was The Jungle Book. I watched the movie adaptation before reading the book so I had some expectations going in and it ended up being nothing like the movie which I didn’t like.

What are your book buying habits like?

I’m pretty good at not buying a lot of books. I will usually buy one or two here and there and I only preorder a couple of books a year from some of my favorite authors. Plus I have cut back significantly on buying books since I put myself on a book buying ban last year.

What is your favorite place you have traveled to?

I don’t do a whole lot of traveling so I don’t have any extravagant places to share. I guess I would say Florida is my favorite place I have travelled.

What is your favorite season/ time of year and why?

I would say fall/winter because of the cooler weather plus it’s Christmas and my birthday.

What is a book that has had a huge impact on your life?

There hasn’t ever been one book that has had a huge impact on my life so I guess I will say all of them.

Who is your favorite author and why?

My all time favorite author is Nicholas Sparks. He has been my favorite author for as long as I can remember. He has yet to disappointment me even in the books of his that I have read that I didn’t love I still enjoyed them and they are all pretty relatable.

What time of the day do you usually read?

Mostly at night but sometimes I will read during the day just depending on my mood. But 99% of the time it’s from like 7 or 8 PM until I go to bed around 10.

What is a book that you think is over-hyped?

The first book that came to mind was You by Caroline Kepnes. Years ago when I first read this book I had heard so many people raving about it so I was fully expecting to love it but in the end I didn’t.

Thanks again for the tag Nadia. I’m not going to be tagging anyone because of course I am too lazy but just know if you are reading this you deserve this award too.
