Hello bookworms!!
I’ve had another pretty good reading week despite being sick for a few days. I didn’t finish 6 books like I did the past couple of weeks but I did finish 4 which to me is still really good. I got my second COVID vaccine on Wednesday and it didn’t affect me as much as I was expecting it to but it did still make me a little sick and my arm was extremely sore. By Friday I was much better. Here is a look at the books I read this week and what is next.
~ Recently Finished ~
These are the 4 books I managed to finish this week. First I finished The Dark Half by Stephen King. I was really enjoying the 1st half of the book but the ending wasn’t my favorite. I then finished Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare which I am buddy reading with Erin and it was a reread for me. Like with my reread of the first one I still really enjoyed it but because nothing is a surprise it’s not as amazing as is was when I first read it but again still love it. I then finished The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black. A lot of people have said they didn’t like this one as much as the others so I was worried I would feel the same way but luckily I really enjoyed the way things ended in this book. Lastly I finished The Passage by Justin Cronin. I have been slowly getting through this chunker of a book all moth long and it has finally come to an end and I loved it. While I enjoyed a lot of the books I read this month this one is probably going to be my favorite of the month.
~ Currently Reading ~
I haven’t made anymore progress in either of these books but now that I have finished everything else I can get back to these. I’ve still only read 151/485 pages of Two by Two by Nicholas Sparks and 14/290 pages of The Guernsey Literary Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer. I most likely will not finish both of these by the end of the month but my plan is to at least finish Guernsey and then carry Two by Two over into next month. I swear I will eventually finish this book.
~ Reading Next ~
This is the last book on my June TBR however since the live show discussion isn’t until July 5th I’m not in any rush to finish it but this will be the next book I pick up.
What have you recently finished reading? What do you plan to read next? What are you currently reading? Have you read any of the books I mentioned?
4 books are still good. I can hardly read 2 these days. I hope you’re feeling well now.

I apparently added it to my Goodreads TBR back in 2019 and forgot about it. I’m glad I finally read it because it was amazing. I hope you get around to reading it soon.

Yep – I finished the series a few years ago. I was lucky enough to get an ARC of the third book.

That’s amazing. Did you enjoy it? I borrowed the book from the library but I definitely want to get physical copies because I loved it so much.

I did. Lost some characters along the way, but I’m not giving spoilers!
