Weekly Wrap Up

Off The Grid Readathon Wrap Up #OfftheGridReadathon

Hello bookworms!!

This past weekend was the Off the Grid Readathon which was created by Shanah from Bionic Book Worm she actually had a family emergency so it got cancelled last minute but I decided since I had already shared a TBR I would keep up with my reading for the weekend. Since it was cancelled I have to admit I didn’t try really hard to stay off of my phone/computer but I did get some reading done.

My Initial TBR

My plan for the weekend was to focus on Catwalk because I’m scheduled to participate in the blog tour on Friday and then I was hoping to make some progress in the other two. Here is how my weekend actually went.

DAY 1:

I spent a total of 4 hours reading this day. I read 77 pages of Catwalk and 97 pages of Rose Madder. One hour was spent reading every ones blog posts for the day. Yes I counted this toward my reading.

DAY 2:

I spent a total of 4 hours reading on this day as well. I read 124 pages of Rose Madder which got me to this weeks checkpoint for this book and I read 21% of Tangled Threat. Again a spent an hour reading blog posts this day as well.

DAY 3:

Tangled Threat

I read for 4 and a half hours on this day and 30 minutes was just reading every ones blog posts. I then managed to finish the last 79% of Tangled Threat.

So all in all while I did get some reading done this weekend I totally could have gotten way more reading in had stayed Off the Grid. I am calling this my practice round for if I decide to participate again.

  1. That is a good amount for the weekend. I am always plugged in, checking email and facebook. Not sure if I could go off the grid as living alone, my kids contact me through Messenger, but maybe I need to try it.
