This Week In Books

My Week In Books 7/19 – 7/25

Hello bookworms!!

I didn’t do a whole lot of anything this week. I don’t even think I read a whole lot until the weekend. On Friday I randomly clicked on a video on YouTube to watch thinking oh I will just watch this and be done with it. I kept getting recommended the video and it intrigued me. Well I ended up getting sucked down the rabbit hole. I swear to you I have probably watched well over half of the videos this channel has posted and I’m still hooked. By the way if you’re curious the channel is Bondi Rescue. I’m totally hooked. It will be nice to get back to normal life when I get caught up on their videos lol. Despite binge watching YouTube videos I still managed to finish 3 books.

~ Recently Finished ~

The first book I finished this week was Safekeeping by Eva MacKenzie. I ended up really enjoying this one. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I then finished this months #KeeperofKing book Rose Madder by Stephen King. I was loving this to begin with but the paranormal aspect totally ruined this one for me. Last night I managed to finish The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager. I’m still figuring out how I felt about this book but overall I think I really enjoyed it.

~ Currently Reading ~

I barely managed to finish The Last Time I Lied before going to bed last night so I didn’t have time to start anything else.

~ Reading Next ~

These are the last 4 books on my TBR for this month. Will I be able to finish all 4 in 6 days probably not but I will read as many of them as I can and then carry the rest over into August.

What have you recently finished reading? What are you currently reading? What do you plan to read next? Have you read any of the books I mentioned?

      1. I understand. I got hooked on the maestro from our local symphony reading picture books. I watched and listened to him even without the kids around. 😁

      1. I don’t read a whole lot of thrillers so to me there were surprises but for someone who reads them a lot they may not think so. I’m pretty much a newbie.
