This Week In Books

My Week In Books 8/2 -8/8

Hello bookworms!!

This week has been a slow reading week for me. I’ve been having some health issues that has been leaving me feeling shaky and drained and just tired really so I haven’t really felt like doing a whole lot of anything. I am going to be going to the doctor today so hopefully things will start getting better from here.

~ Recently Finished ~

I finished my reread of City of Bones this week which I buddy read with Erin. We are working our way through all of the shadowhunter books. I then finished a bonus scene from Brutal Prince by Sophie Lark this was only like 30 pages and while I can’t count it on Goodreads I still count it toward my reading goal. Lastly I read Beautifully Broken by Laura Lee.  I received this book from NetGalley several years ago and I finally got around to reading it. I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to read it because I really loved this book.

~ Currently Reading ~

I’ve made a start on this months #KeeperofKing readalong book. The book is Bag of Bones by of course Stephen King. I’m currently 243 pages into this book and honestly I’m confused. At this point I don’t really know what the point is yet but hopefully that will change soon. I only started The Clinch by Nicole Disney last night and only managed to read 62 pages so I don’t really have an opinion on this one yet. I’m participating in the blog tour for this one on Friday so look out for my review then.

~ Reading Next ~

I need to start The Twelve because our first discussion is on Wednesday and I have to read over 200 pages. The Husband’s Secret was on July’s TBR but I wasn’t able to get to it so I want to finally read it so it will be one I pick up very soon as well. I also need to get a start on City of Ashes which is the next book I am buddy reading with Erin.

What have you recently finished reading? What are you currently reading? What are you planning to read next? Have you read any of the books I mentioned?
