The Inside And Out Book Tag

Hello bookworms!!

I saw Kira do this tag yesterday and while I wasn’t tagged to do it I wanted a fun easy post to do for today and I thought this worked perfectly. I have tried to find who created this tag but was unable to so if you know who the creator is please let me know in the comments so I can give them proper credit. Thanks Kira for bringing this tag to my attention. You should definitely head over to her blog and check out her answers to these questions and if you aren’t following her already go ahead and give her a follow while you are there. Lets get to these questions shall we.

Inside flap/back of the book summaries: Too much information? Or not enough?

It’s a bit of both actually. It really just depends on the book. Sometimes the book summaries give way to much away but there have been instances where I have read the summary and it told me absolutely nothing of what the book was about. I wish I had an example to share but of course I am drawing a blank right now. I am also the type of person who will read the synopsis once to decide if I want to read the book and add it to my TBR and then proceed to not read it for forever but once I do decide to read it I won’t read the synopsis again because I kind of like going in with as little information as possible.

New book: What form do you want it in? Be honest: Audiobook, ebook, Paperback, or Hardcover?

All of them!! Ok I would say my least favorite to read is hardcover because they are so heavy which makes them painful to hold sometimes but they are so pretty on book shelves. I literally read books in every single format though so I can’t just pick one. I will say my absolute favorite way to read is to listen to the audiobook while following along in an ebook/physical book.

Scribble while you read? Do you like to write in your books; take notes, make comments, or do you keep your books clean, clean, clean?

Absolutely not!! I don’t see how people can do this to there books. I mean to each their own but just thinking about writing in my books makes my heart race. So my books are clean, clean, clean.

Dose it matter to you whether the author is male or female when you are deciding on a book? What if you’re unsure of the author’s gender?

Nope not in the slightest. Honestly I barely pay attention to who the author of a book is which I know isn’t great and it’s something I should probably work on.

Ever read ahead? Or have you ever read the last page way before you got there?

I used to read the last paragraph of the book but only when the book was causing me a lot of anxiety and I had to know how it was going to end. I am happy to say I don’t do this anymore. I’ve never skimmed through a book though. I can’t do that. I feel like I am going to miss something important

Organized bookshelves or outrageous bookshelves?

I think my bookshelves are organized to a point. Like I have all of the books by the same author together but beyond that they are all just put on my shelf where they will fit.

Have you ever bought a book based on the cover alone?

I have actually never done this. I admit that covers have drawn me in but I have never bought a book without reading the synopsis first to make sure it sounds intriguing to me.

Take it outside to read, or stay in?

I only ever read inside or sitting in my car but that’s only because I don’t have anywhere where I can go and sit outside to read. Plus I am easily distracted so the comforts of my home or car are probably more suitable for actually getting reading done.

I’m not going to tag anyone but if you want to do this tag then feel free just please link back to one of my posts because I would love to see your answers.
