The Liebster Award #10

Tag

Hello bookworms!!

I didn’t have anything scheduled for today so I thought I would work on doing some of the tags I have had in my drafts for a while. I was nominated by Lucy from Bookworm Blogger for the Liebster Award back in November of 2020. Sorry I am getting to this one so late Lucy and thank you so much for the nomination. If you aren’t already following Lucy’s blog you should head over and give her a follow. Lets get to the questions shall we.

Rules:

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you
  2. Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you
  3. Nominate 11 bloggers
  4. Ask your nominees 11 questions
  5. Notify your 11 nominees

Lucy’s Questions:

What is your favorite season and why?

I guess I would say fall/winter is my favorite season for a few reasons. I love the cooler weather plus December is my favorite month of the year because it’s my birthday and Christmas.

Roughly how many books do you own? (You can include e-Books if you want)

Oh gosh!! Including ebooks I am guessing somewhere close to 500. I’m not 100% sure how many I have. I know I have 291 ebooks on my Kindle app and I have 150 unread books on my shelves but that doesn’t include all of the books I’ve read and had to put in storage because I don’t have room for them where I live right now so honestly I could have way more than 500 who really knows.

Who is an author you know will never disappoint you?

For the sake of not always repeating myself by saying my favorite author Nicholas Sparks I am going to go with another author and say James J. Cudney. I’ve read everything he’s written so far and I’ve loved them all.

Where is one place in the world you’ve always wanted to visit?

There are so many places I would love to visit but because I’m not rich it will never happen. This is probably a cliche answer but I would love to visit Paris.

Name a series you’ve read recently that you enjoyed.

I’m going to go with one that I am about to finish and that is The Passage Trilogy by Justin Cronin. I have absolutely loved this trilogy.

Can you tell me an interesting fact about yourself that has nothing to do with books?

There’s nothing really interesting about me. The only thing I can really think of that I don’t really think is interesting but it’s a fun fact and that is that I can name all of the states in alphabetical order.

What is your go to genre and why? Who are some of your favorite authors from that genre?

I love romance but it doesn’t have to be a full on romance it can be a fantasy with a romance in it or it can be a smutty romance I’m not really picky when it comes to romance. As I mentioned Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author and I am aware that not every body considers him a romance author but we can agree to disagree. I also love Kerri Maniscalco. It’s so hard to come up with authors you love when you are put on the spot.

If the world was attacked by zombies what would your survival method be?

Honestly being a double amputee in a wheelchair I would have to rely heavily on others for help and mostly hiding out so I probably wouldn’t survive very long.

Name something good to happen to you this year

I am trying to think if anything has happened to me this year and I can’t really think of anything out of the ordinary. I am managing to stay safe during the pandemic which is a positive and I have had a few friends gift me with books/bookish merch that I wasn’t expecting so that’s good as well. Beyond that I can’t think of anything else.

How has your reading been this year? Have you already reached your reading goal or have you been stuck in a slump?

Honestly I think 2021 is going to be my best reading year yet. I’ve already surpassed my goal of reading 100 books. I’ve currently read 104 books. I think I could possibly get close to 150 books this year which I have never done before so that’s exciting.

I am putting this post together late at night and I am to lazy to go through and tag everybody individually but know that I think you all deserve the nomination. If you want to answer the questions that I answered feel free to do so just please tag me and Lucy so we can see your answers.
