October TBR Which Is Basically Just My #Tropeathon TBR

Hello bookworms!!

It is time to share my TBR for October. Normally I pick books for all of the challenges I am participating in for the year but since October is the month that #Tropeathon is coming back I have decided to dedicate my TBR to that. I do have a couple books that I am buddy reading in October that aren’t part of my #Tropeathon TBR so I will share those before getting into the books I have chosen for #Tropeathon. Before I get to the books I just want to say I know there are a lot of books on this TBR. More books than I have ever read in a month. I don’t expect to read all of them but as I always say I am going to do my best. Ok so lets look at the books I am buddy reading first.

Thinner – This months #KeeperofKing readalong book is Thinner which King wrote under his pen name Richard Bachman. As is the case with every single King book we read I have no clue what this book is about. If you didn’t know I participate in a group on Instagram where we read 1 Stephen King book a month. I continue to enjoy doing this even though I don’t always love the books.

City of Fallen Angels – I will also be continue my buddy read of The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare with Erin. We actually started reading City of Fallen Angels in September but it carried over into October.

Tropeathon Banner

Ok those are the only 2 books that I didn’t fit into my #Tropeathon TBR. I do have another buddy read planned for October but luckily I was able to use it for #Tropeathon as well. If you didn’t know #Tropeathon is a month long readathon that is hosted by myself and Michelle. We have created a bingo board with 24 tropes plus the free space. You can read as much or as little as you want. We also have bonus tropes that if you read during the week specified you can mark 2 prompts off of the main board without having to read those. You can also use one book for as many of the tropes as you want the trope just has to be present in the book. I have books chosen for every single trope but as I mentioned I highly doubt I will be able to read all of these books in a month so I am just going to do my best. If you aren’t sure what one of the tropes are you can look at my recommendation posts here and here where I explain what each trope is while also recommending you some books that would work for each trope.

This is the main bingo board!!img_1029
