My Week In Books 12/6 – 12/12

Hello bookworms!!

I didn’t have a whole lot going on this week. I took my mother-in-law to one of her appointments and I’m still doing physical therapy twice a week for my wrists and so far, I haven’t really noticed any difference. Besides that, I’ve just been doing my usual wasting time on YouTube and reading. I finished 2 books this week.

~ Recently Finished ~

The first book I finished this week was Warm bodies by Isaac Marion. This is a book I buddy read with Jonny. I am hoping to have my review posted tomorrow and there will be a buddy reads and rants post going up eventually as well so I don’t want to say too much about my thoughts on this one just yet, but I will say that I enjoyed it enough to give it another chance with book 2. Lastly, I read Cycle of the Werewolf by Stephen King. This was this month #KeeperofKing readalong book and I ended up enjoying it way more than I thought I was going to.

~ Currently Reading ~

I didn’t make any progress in either of these this week. I’m still 708 pages into The Stand by Stephen King and 146 pages into City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare. Definitely need to get back to both of these soon.

~ Reading Next ~

From Fame to Ruin by Jina S. Bazzar and Winter by Marissa Meyer are the last 2 books left on my official TBR for December. I’m not sure if I am going to be able to get to Winter in December or not. Once again, I put several chunky books on my TBR without realizing it and Winter is one of them. I’m not going to count it out just yet but I’m making myself aware of the possibility that I might not be able to read it this month.

What have you recently finished reading? What are you currently reading? What do you plan to read next? Have you read any of the books I mentioned?
