If you missed the announcement Tropeathon is back. This is the 4th round of Tropeathon and this time we have a fun maze. This round is taking place from February 14-28. If you want to join, check out the announcement post for all of the details. Today I am going to be sharing some recommendations for each of the tropes included in the maze. I recommend y’all check out Michelle’s blog because she is truly the queen of recommendations and if you didn’t know she is also a host of this readathon along with me. Here’ a look at the maze for this round and some books I recommend if you are in need of something to fit one of the tropes.
Hate to Love
I have read and loved all of these with the exception of The Unhoneymooners. I’m actually currently reading this one, but I am only 5 chapters in, and I am absolutely loving it so far and I am pretty sure it’s going to end up being a new favorite.
On the Run
With the first 2 I listed the first book in each of the series but the on the run aspect probably doesn’t happen until later in the series. Again, I have read and loved all of these.
If you choose to do more than one path Serpent & Dove could fit more than one of the tropes. All of these were books I have read and enjoyed.
The only book on this list that I didn’t absolutely love was Addicted to You by Krista and Becca Ritchie. It was just an ok book for me, but I really enjoyed the rest.
These are all romances because that’s what I love to read but you can read any genre so long as a sport is part of the book.
I didn’t think I had any recommendations for this trope but I did a little research and came up with these two. Anne of Green Gables is a favorite. Eat Pray Love is a book I read a long time ago and don’t remember anything about it besides that I gave it 3 stars on Goodreads.
Some of these I loves and some of them I just thought were ok reads.
I know I have read more taboo books but I can’t for the life of me think of them right now so these are the 3 I have come up with. These are a mix of books I loved, didn’t like and thought was ok. In that order.
Train to Succeed
This is the only book I could come up with for this trope. This could be a train to succeed at a new job type of thing or like in the book below it’s a you’re the one to save the world so you have to train to do that.
I can’t believe I was able to come up with recommendations for all of the tropes. I thought for sure I wasn’t going to have anything for at least 2 of them but yay me!! As I mentioned above you should definitely check out Michelle’s blog for even more recommendations. Are you going to be participating in this round of #Tropeathon? What books would you recommend for these tropes? Don’t forget to use the #Tropeathon on all social media and we are on Twitter @Tropeathon1.
