Monthly Wrap Up

August Wrap Up

Wrap Up

Hello bookworms!!

August was not a good month for me and my family. Honestly 2022 hasn’t been a good year for my family so far. I took a trip to Florida with my sister to visit with my granny at the beginning of the month. We were only able to stay for a couple of days, but I will always be grateful for those days. She ended up passing away a week after we went back home and 2 days before she passed away my aunt passed away unexpectedly from surgery complications. Then about 2 weeks after they passed away my uncle passed away. There has been a lot of heartbreak this month. With everything I was dealing with I was turning to books for an escape but at the same time my reading seemed to slow down a lot. I ended up reading 9 books in August all of which I enjoyed. One more thing before I share all of the books I read in August. I am still pretty behind on reviews, but I will share links to the ones I have written and update these posts when I have more.
