Hello bookworms!!
In my October TBR post I shared a list of all the spooky-ish movies/shows I wanted to watch throughout the month, and I thought it would be fun to share what I managed to watch each week. I can’t figure out how to make the YouTube videos smaller so sorry they are massive. Also, sorry not sorry at the number of times I talk about Heartstopper in these posts. Speaking of Heartstopper I did in fact continue to watch Heartstopper every day this week but unlike last week I only watched it 8 times instead of 12 so I am making progress. I did manage to watch a couple of other movies as well.
October 10th
I think I might have enjoyed this one a tiny bit more than the first one. If you haven’t watched this and don’t want to be spoiled, then skip the rest of this because there are some spoilers coming. I really enjoyed this one and it wasn’t as dark as the first one. I mean the first one isn’t necessarily dark but this one just seemed lighthearted and funny compared to the first one. The only niggle I had with this one is that the main characters end up randomly having power and I would have liked to understand how they ended up with power all of a sudden, as it is it seemed like it was just thrown in so they would be able to defeat the Sanderson sisters. Other than that, I thought this was a great movie.
October 11th
This movie was freaking hilarious. It’s my favorite movie of the week. I honestly don’t know what else to say about it, it was a great movie, and these actors are amazing.
October 13th
This is a rewatch for me. I rewatch this every now and then and I do still enjoy it. It’s another adaptation that was done well in my opinion. Jennifer Lawrence became a favorite of mine after watching her in these movies.
That’s all for this week. Just 3 new additions and I’m not really making any progress on my original list but at least I am watching something, I guess. What have you been watching lately? Anything you think I should give a try?

I enjoyed Hocus Pocus 2 more than the first also. Jungle Cruise was a funny movie, and I tend to rewatch Hunger Games from time to time, too.
I rewatched Scary Movie 2 and 10 Things I Hate About You with my daughter this weekend.

I thought it was just going to be me who liked the second one a little more than the first one. It’s nice to know I’m not alone.
I haven’t rewatched 10 Things I Hate About You in a while. I love that movie. As for Scary Movie 2 I can’t remember the last time I watched one of those.

LOL! I thought I was going to be the only one to like the second movie better.
My daughter wanted me to watch Scary Movie 2 with her, but 10 Things I Hate About You was all me.

I love rewatching The Hunger Games, even if it is a bit emotionally draining! Movie-wise, I just rewatched The Book Thief but haven’t watched anything new in a while. And for TV, I’ve just started Younger 🙂

I’ve never watched The Book Thief but I really want to it’s just not on any of the streaming services I have.
