Hello bookworms!!
It’s time to share another monthly TBR. This is the last TBR of the year and honestly, I can’t believe the year is already almost over. Time sure is flying by. I decided for December I wanted to mostly focus on reading all of those books that have been on my TBRs throughout the year, but I haven’t read yet for one reason or another. There was a total of 25 books and of course I’m not going to be able to read that many books in December, so I’ve picked the ones I really want to get to as well as added some book club books and buddy read books. Let me stop rambling and get to the books.
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon – This month’s #KeeperofKing pick is The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. As usual I am going into this one blind, but I am looking forward to reading it because I tend to like his shorter books more than his longer books. By the time you are reading this I have already started this book.
Flora’s Travelling Christmas Shop – I am buddy reading this book with Erin. We just finished The Dark Artifices trilogy by Casandra Clare, and I was in the mood to read Christmas books this month and luckily Erin was up for that and even had some recs. I’ve started this one already and so far, I am really enjoying it.
This Savage Song – This is a book I am buddy reading with Destiny. I’ve had this duology on my shelves for I don’t know how long at this point, probably 2 years or more and I just kept putting off reading it. Believe it or not this isn’t the only full series I own that I haven’t even started reading yet. I’ve already started this one and at the moment I don’t really understand what’s going on but I’m liking it so that’s good.
A Very Merry Meet Cute – The next four books are all books that were chosen for the Lost in Romance Book Club that I cohost with Michelle. This one was picked for December because like I said I am really in the mood for some Christmas books.
Book Lovers – This book has been on every TBR since July. Yep, it’s been 6 months and I still haven’t read it, but I am hoping this is the month that I finally make it happen.
The Girl Who Belonged to the Sea – This was September’s pick for the book club so again it has been on my TBR several months in a row now and I’m hoping to finally read it because I’ve heard it’s really good.
Nightshade – This was November’s book club pick, so it hasn’t been on my TBR as long as the others but alas it’s another one I wasn’t able to fit into the allotted month. I feel like only being behind on 3/12 books is really good, but I would really like to be able to get all of these read by the end of the year.
A Very Large Expanse of Sea – This is one of the books that I was recommended for the 12 in 12 challenge this year. There’s no way I am actually completing this challenge, but I did start this book a couple months ago and I really want to finish it this month.
A Lesson in Love and Death – This was a book that I was sent as part of a blog tour with R&R Book Tours that I wasn’t able to get read on time. I really would like to get to this one by the end of the year as well because I don’t want to have any outstanding blog tour reviews.
Kingdom of the Feared – Oh I cannot wait to read this one. It’s one of my most anticipated books of 2022 and it came out in September. I also don’t want this series to end because I love it so much.
Dreamland – Last but not least another anticipated 2022 book that came out in October and it just so happens to be by my favorite author.
Those are the 11 books I hope to read in December. Will I be able to read all of these plus some other mood read books? We will have to wait and see. Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What do you plan to read in December?
I can’t wait to see your thoughts on The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. I haven’t seen a lot of feedback on that one. It’s on my tbr shelf but I’ve just never picked it up.

It’s been years since I read the King book, but I know I liked it. And you know I enjoyed the Schwab book – I’ll read anything she writes. Happy Reading, Misty!

I hope you love all of these! I still want to read Book Lovers before the year is out, so if you want, I would be down to buddy read it after we finish This Savage Song.
