End Of The Year Book Tag #Blogmas

Hello bookworms!!

I’ve been seeing this tag making the rounds for the past month or so and I kept telling myself I wasn’t going to do it. I didn’t have a post for today and I didn’t want to post another review since I shared one yesterday so when I saw Destiny’s tag post, I was finally sold on doing it. It’s an easy post to do and it will give you a little taste of what my reading plans are for the remainder of the year. This tag was originally created by Ariel Bissett.

1. Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

The only books that I’ve started but haven’t finished yet are the books that I’m actively currently reading so those are the ones that I hope to finish preferably way before the end of the year because there are so many other books I want to get to as well.

2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I tried doing seasonal TBRs this year for the first time and the only thing that taught me was that I don’t do seasonal reading. The only time I read seasonally is in December because that’s when I want to read all of the Christmas books. As for an autumnal book I don’t really have any specific books I just read whatever I want to. 

3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

I only had 2 anticipated releases for this year, and I do already own them because I always preorder their books, but I have yet to read them, so I am going to go with those for this question.

4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

I could just share my entire December TBR because I hope to read all of them, but these are the 3 that I picked from those. The first 2 are books for the Lost in Romance Book Club that I cohost, and I really want to be able to end the year saying I read all 12 of the books that were chosen. The last book is a book I was sent for a blog tour review that I didn’t get read on time and I want to finish it because I don’t want any leftover blog tour reviews going into the new year.

5. Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?

No not really. There are definitely books on my TBR that I think I will end up giving 5 stars like Flora’s Travelling Christmas Shop, kingdom of the Feared and Dreamland but those wouldn’t really come as a shock to me at this point. I guess I can go with Flora’s Travelling Book Shop by Rebecca Raisin. I went into this book with no expectations, but I’ve been reading it for the past week or so now and I’m loving it so much. 

6. Have you already started making reading plans for 2023?

Yes, I have. I usually wait until the very last minute to start thinking about these things, but I’ve been planning early this year. I haven’t shared anything on my blog yet but I’ve been writing things down and drafting posts so those will be coming soon.
