Hello bookworms!!
It’s time to share my February TBR. Does anyone else feel like January went by really slow? In February I am unofficially going to be trying to read a book a day. So that will be 28 books. Why I decided to try this is beyond me because I highly doubt I will actually accomplish it. I have a list of 28 short stories/novellas that I am going to be picking from to help with this goal however I have a main TBR for the month which is what I am going to be sharing today.
Throne of Glass – I started this series in January by reading The Assassin’s Blade. I’m buddy reading this entire series this year with Destiny and her partner. We plan to read one book a month so we should finish it by August.
For the Sake Of – This is a book I bought in January because of Dejah. This was one of her favorite books of 2022 and I’ve been wanting to get more into horror and she convinced me to give this one a try. It is extreme horror but I’m really looking forward to reading this one.
Desperation – This months #KeeperofKing pick is Desperation. I have no clue what this one is about because I haven’t read the synopsis yet and I don’t think I’m going to. I’m just going to go in blind and hope for the best. I will say I really like this cover.
The Belles – This is my first reread of the year and once again I am buddy reading it with Erin. We read the first 2 books in this series forever ago and recently the 3rd book has finally been announced so we decided to reread all of them because we couldn’t remember everything that had happened.
Deja Dead – I absolutely love the show Bones. It is one of my all time favorite shows that I rewatch pretty much every year. It’s also based off of these books which I’ve never read. I’ve been putting off reading the books because of how much I love the show. I’m kind of scared but I’m finally going to at least read the first book and see what I think.
Take the Lead – This book is releasing this month and I was offered an ARC via NetGalley. I can’t remember what this one is about but I am looking forward to reading it. I’m also reading this for buzzwordathon. The prompt for February is “verb”.
Cherish Hard – This is my next Romanceopoly read. This one is for the prompt read a book where one of the main characters is a farmer, rancher or cowboy. I’ve read a couple books by this author before one I really enjoyed and one I didn’t so I am looking forward to picking up something else by her.
Promise Me Forever – This is a TBR spinner wheel pick. I’ve never read anything by this author before but I have a few of her books on my kindle.
Legendborn – Last but not least I am reading this one with the Books Out of the Blue discord group this month and it also counts for a Romanceopoly prompt. The prompt for this one is to read a fantasy with a cover that takes your breath away. Are there other fantasy books I could have picked for this one sure but this book was on my TBR for this month already and I think it is stunning so I am going with it.
Hell Bent – I started this series last month and absolutely fell in love with it and I had to get my hands on the second book as soon as I possibly could because I just need more.
That’s the 10 books on my main TBR for February. My hope is to read all of these plus 18 short stories/novellas this month but please don’t hold me to that because I highly doubt it’s going to happen. If it does happen I will be in complete shock. Have you read any of these books? What do you plan to read this month?
I’m interested to hear what you think of Deja Dead. It’s very different from the show, more like reading the books the character in the show wrote than the books that inspired the character, if that makes sense.

It does make sense. Someone told me that it is different to the show but they are really enjoying it. I hope I’m the same way but I am a little nervous because I absolutely love the show so much.

I haven’t read a single one of these yet, though there are several that I’m hoping to get to at some point. Best of luck with your goal! I’m trying to do the book a day for the whole year. I managed it in January, but I’ll be surprised if I pull it off for the whole year. Best of luck with it!!
