Hello bookworms!!

As I am sure y’all know by now every month I try to participate in the 24 hour readathon that Lili and Noriko host. Like last month I started at 8am Friday morning and ended at 8am Saturday morning that way I could start when Lili and Noriko do which is 8pm. This time around I wanted to focus on an ebook that I started 2 months ago. I was already halfway through it so I wanted to finish the last half. Aside from that I chose two short library books to try and read as well so lets see what I actually read.

Zoo 2

At 8am Friday morning I started Zoo 2 and I finished it at 10:33.  This was a quick read coming in at 146 pages.

After I finished this I didn’t read anything else for several hours because I had a headache and I wasn’t feeling to good but I finally convinced myself to start reading again later in the afternoon.

The Pirates Booty

This is the book I have been reading for the past 2 months. I was already halfway through it when I started this readathon. Thankfully I was able to finish the last half before I went to bed last night. I read this from 5:12 to 6:44 and then I had to take a break to eat and then read from 7:14 to 9:20 which brought me to the end of the book.

Final Results

Total hours read: 6 hours and 9 minutes

Total books read: 2

Total books completed: 1 and a half

Total pages read: 146 plus the half of the ebook

While I didn’t read as much as I did last month during this readathon I am still happy with what I did manage to read. This readathon gave me the motivation I needed to finally finish The Pirate’s Booty and that was my main goal this time around so I call it a success. I Can’t wait for the next one.     And I’m adding The Pirate’s booty in my TBr. I’m writing a novella about pirates and I’ll read it for research. haha..

    1. Yeah maybe one day I will be able to read more than that in a 24 hour period lol.

      I enjoyed the story but the pirate language was so hard to read that’s why I struggled with it.
