Memes

WWW Wednesday

Hello bookworms!!

After not doing this meme for over a year now I have decided to start it up again. I’ve been doing IMWAYR? posts for a while and I got the urge to switch things up a little. I am going to be doing these posts on Wednesdays from now on or at least until I get the urge to change things up again which I don’t see happening anytime soon. WWW Wednesday was originally hosted by A Daily Rhythm and was revived by Taking on a World of Words.

WWW Wednesday

To take part all you need to do is answer the following questions:

~What are you currently reading?
~What did you recently finish reading?

~What do you think you’ll read next?

~ Currently Reading ~

Kendall

I started this on the 19 and I’ve read 23% of it so far. I most likely won’t be finishing this one until next month so I can focus on the readathon I’m currently participating in.

~ Recently Finished ~

I finished 3 books this week. The first one was a poetry book that I won and unfortunately it wasn’t for me. Next up was Love & Gelato which was exactly what I needed to help me out of my reading slump. I read Ronaldo: The Phantom Carrot Snatcher last night and I though it was so adorable.

~ Reading Next ~

second chance summer

I am going to be starting Second Chance Summer today. This will be the 3rd book for the Summer Bash Readathon that I read and I am excited to finally be reading it because it has been on my TBR for a while.

What are you currently reading? What have you recently finished? What do you plan to read next? Have you read any of the books I mentioned?

  1. I’m currently reading “star Crossed” by Minnie Darke which is light and fun and I like because I wanted a nice, simple rom com. I just finished “ The Guest Book” by Sarah Blake which I read for book club, and it was eh. I’m probably going to read “me For You” by Lolly Winston

      1. Star Crossed sounded fun! And it’s an interesting concept for a book. I like when rom coms venture out into something fun! I saw the last book when I went wandering through Barnes and Noble…it was on the new release table and I thought it looked like a good summer read. I tend to go light and fun in the summer

      2. I usually don’t have a preference for what I read different times of the year. I’ve been fighting a reading slump the past couple of weeks and I’ve realized I am in the mood for cutesy romance type books. That’s what’s helped me get out of my slump.

      3. I get that way too! I like lighter in the summer because I read outside more, and I often bring my dog to park with me, so I get easily distracted by my dog or just people watching

  2. I’m currently reading “The Flatshare” by Beth O’Leary. I’m on chapter 5 and it’s pretty good so far!
I just finished reading “Edenbrooke” by Julianne Donaldson. It was so very good! Definitely recommend that one.
Honestly, I’m not too sure what I’m going to read next. I work in a bookstore and there are so many books I want to read. Hopefully I figure it out soon!
