Happy Birthday To Me!! And Why It’s My Favorite Time Of Year

Hello bookworms!!

I have another quick post to share with y’all today. Today is my birthday!! Yes I am like a kid when it comes to my birthday and I don’t care I just love it so much. Yeah I don’t have much else to say about that besides that I will have a birthday book haul posted sometime soon.

So December is my favorite month of the year. Yes partly because it’s my birthday but also because I love Christmas and everything that entails. I love the decorations, the lights, the Christmas music the time with family, the cooler temperatures and yes the snow. I never hear anyone talking about how much they love the snow it’s always about how they hate it. You will never hear me say I hate the snow because it’s probably one of my favorite things ever. I don’t like driving in it so that’s why I just sit at home and admire it from my porch.

I also love the gifts. Lets be honest I turn 32 today and at this point I don’t really get very many gifts anymore but who cares. My husband lets me buy stuff I want and he will surprise all throughout the year with random things but for the most part I can’t remember the last time I was surprised by a gift I got for my birthday/Christmas except for the books I received as early birthday presents this year. That’s the first time I’ve gotten a gift that I didn’t pick out myself in a very long time.

Honestly I just love everything about this month. What is your favorite time of year? I know a lot of people who are going to say Fall. What is one thing you like about December?
