5 Star TBR Predictions

Hello bookworms!!

A while back I saw a lot of people doing this on YouTube and on WordPress and it looked like fun so I had planned to do it then but I never got around to doing it so I thought I would give it a shot today. Basically I am going to go through my owned TBR books and pick ones that I think will be 5 star reads for me. Hopefully I want be setting myself up for failure. My plan for this is to pick 5 books that I think will be 5 star reads and hopefully have all 5 of those books read before the end of the year and come back with another post talking about how my predictions turned out. Without further ado lets talk about the books I think will be 5 star reads for me.

I’ve had this book on my shelf for a while now but I still haven’t read it because I want to get the last book in this series. I’ve been waiting to get all three of them because everybody seems to love this and I just have a feeling that after I read the first book I’m going to want to binge read the rest of them.

I’ve read the first two books in this authors Criminal Utopia series and while this book has nothing to do with that series I am expecting this one to be just as good as those were.

I had seen this book around for a little bit and never really thought anything of it until a friend of mine read it and loved it. Seeing her gushing over it and reading her review made me really want to read it. I have grown to trust her opinion because we have very similar tastes.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

I recently read my first Taylor Jenkins Reid which was One True Loves and while that book wasn’t a 5 star read for me I still really loved it. After reading that one and posting my review so many people told me I should pick this one up because it was amazing.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before

I think this book/trilogy is a hit or miss for most people but I have high expectations for it because I absolutely loved the Summer trilogy.

Do you agree with any of my predictions? Do you think I should be setting my expectations lower for any of these? I would love to know your thoughts just please no spoilers.

  1. Okaaay, sooo I haven’t read Illuminae either because I’m a bit intimidated by all those five stars and now people seem to not enjoy it as much as before? It’s kind of weird.
But you’ll totally love To All The Boys if you enjoyed Summer (I loved them both, but I love To All The Boys more). Also, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is such a great book, I’ve also read Maybe in Another Life by Reid, but The Seven Husbands is so much better!!
    Great post! ❤

    1. I’m still really excited about reading Illuminae. A friend of mine has already read it and she loved it so I know I’m most likely going to love it because we have similar tastes. Yeah I did love the Summer trilogy and I excited to read The Seven Husbands.

    1. I’m so excited to start that trilogy. I already have the first 2 books but I want to wait until I have all 3 of them to start it. The bad thing is I got them in paperback so I’m going to have to wait for the paperback of Obsidio to come out before I can get it.
