Weekly Wrap Up

Weekly Wrap Up 1/1 – 1/7

Wrap Up

Hello bookworms!!

I’m back today with my first weekly wrap up of 2018. I can’t believe a week has already passed by. This week has been great reading wise. I’ve already finished 3 books. Aside from reading I haven’t done much. I did meet up with a friend of mine for lunch one day this week. We went to a place called Frescos. They have a variety of things you can choose from but I tend to always go for the pasta. This time I went for the Shrimp Scampi without the shrimp. I just had the pasta and it was really good. I’ve only ate at this place 3 times because it is still fairly new but I am already getting burnt out on it so I think its time to start eating somewhere else for a while.

Now that I have successfully made you as well as myself hungry lets get into the books I have read this week.

Books I’ve finished this week

The first book I finished this week was my buddy read of Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco. And I did it guys I finally finished You by Caroline Kepnes after reading it for almost 2 months. I don’t have any reviews posted yet because I am trying something different this year. I feel like I am awful at doing full blown reviews so I thought I would do mini reviews. After I read 3 books I will do one post with mini reviews of each of the books. That’s very confusing but hopefully my first set of mini reviews will be out later this week. I’m not sure if I will stick with this but I wanted to give it a shot and see if it works for me. As for the third book I finished I can’t really say anything about it. I was beta reading a book for an author and I finished it yesterday. Lets just say I can’t wait for this book to be released so everyone can read it.

I plan on starting Back to Good by Laura Benson today. I honestly don’t really know too much about this book. I’m pretty sure I won it in a giveaway sometime last year but I can’t be certain. From what the back of the book says I think it’s going to be a rock star romance but we shall see.

This week on the blog

1 week down 51 to go. As you can tell I spent the first week of the year wrapping up 2017 on my blog. Tomorrow will hopefully be the start of my 2018 posts starting with my January TBR. I’m really happy with how the year has started out for me reading wise I just hope I can keep this up. How has the week treated you? Have you read any of the books I mentioned? Did you enjoy them?

  1. Mmmm pasta. I’m like you and go for the pasta dishes at restaurants as well. I just love anything pasta related! I’m curious to see your Jack the Ripper review cause I had a friend who read it at the end if 2017.

  2. Pasta is always my go-to whenever I got out to eat! I read Stalking Jack the Ripper late last year and I can’t wait to read your thoughts on it!
