The Last 10 Books Tag

Tag

Hello bookworms!!

I am back with another tag post. This time it is The Last 10 Books Tag that was originally created by Marc Nash over on YouTube. Thank you so much to Hundreds & Thousands of Books for tagging me. I loved the questions for this tag and it’s an easy one to do so lets get to it shall we.

Last Book I Bought:

The last book I bought was Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco. I actually preordered this months ago and it came in the mail at the beginning of October. I also preordered the Fairyloot edition of this book but I am still waiting on that one to come in the mail.

Last Book I Re-Read:

I’ve reread a few books this year but the most recent one was City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. I reread it so I could continue on with the series because it had been a while since I originally read it and I didn’t remember much about it.

Last Book I Gave Up On:

I had this post drafted a couple of days ago ready to go up today but I had to come in and edit this question because I have DNFed another book since then. I originally had RoseBlood by A.G. Howard here although that one’s not a permanent DNF. Danse Macabre by Stephen King however is most likely going to be a permanent DNF. I just wasn’t liking this book at all not to mention it spoils so many horror books and movies that I haven’t read or watched.

Danse Macabre

Last Book I Said I Read But Didn’t:

I’ve never done this. I don’t really see the point in saying you’ve read something you haven’t actually read because when people start talking to you about the book it’s going to become clear you haven’t read it.

Last Book I Wrote in the Margins Of:

I’ve never done this either. I have always liked the idea of annotating my books but just thinking about writing in my books makes me anxious. I’m not one of those people who has to have their books in pristine condition but I just can’t bring myself to write in my books. The most writing in a book I have done is to put my name in it.

Last Book That I Had Signed:

I’ve never gone to an author signing in my life but one day I would love to. Despite never going to an author signing I do own several books that have been signed. The most recent book I bought was Kingdom of the Cursed and because I preordered it I got some preorder prizes. One of those prizes was a signed book plate which I immediately put in my book.

Last Book I Lost:

So I technically didn’t lose this book. When we had to move in with my in laws my brother in law let us put our stuff in his basement because they weren’t using it. This book was missing when we got our stuff out. I know one of the kids took it and never put it back which I wouldn’t have minded had they asked me first but they didn’t.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Last Book I Had to Replace:

As of right now I’ve never had to replace a book however I always intended to replace the Harry Potter book mentioned above but I haven’t gotten around to it and then all of that drama with the author happened and I have decided not to support her anymore but I would like to have the full set because while I do not agree with the author I loved that series. I haven’t decided yet if I will be replacing it or not.

Last Book I Argued Over:

I’ve never argued over a book. I value every ones opinions whether they are the same as mine or not. Honestly I love that we all can read the same book but come out with varying opinions.

Last Book You Couldn’t Find:

I’ve never misplaced a book. My TBR books are always sitting on the table beside my chair and whatever book I am currently reading is usually sitting at the top of that pile or in my purse.

That’s all for todays post. I’m not tagging anyone but if you want to do this tag then consider yourself tagged just please link back to a specific post of mine because I love reading your answers.

  1. This is such a fun tag! I’ve never written in a book either. Maybe you can find a good condition Harry Potter book at the thrift store so no money actually goes to her. Fairyloot has the most beautiful editions of books ever 🤩
