Hello bookworms!!
I was nominated by Emily from A Literary Life for the Sunshine Blogger Award. I know y’all are probably getting tired of seeing these posts and I am sorry but I promise there is an end in sight. Also you should definitely go and follow Emily if you haven’t already.
What is the Sunshine Blogger Award?
The Sunshine Blogger Award is given to those who are creative, positive and inspiring, while spreading sunshine to the blogging community.
How Does it Work?

- Answer the 11 questions sent by the person who nominated you
- Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions
- List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo on your post and/or on your blog
Emily’s Questions:
Do you have a favourite word? If so, what is it? (This is a question that I’ve started to ask a lot; I can’t help it – I love words!).
No not really!
Have you ever read a book, cover to cover, in one day?
Yes I have but it was a pretty short one. I don’t think I have ever read a decently sized book in one day.
Do you believe in judging a book by its cover?
I personally don’t pay too much attention to book covers but I do have to admit that I have been known not to read a book because the covers didn’t appeal to me.
Do you have a favourite book? (It’s a big question, I know.)
My favorite book from 2018 was Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. I don’t think I could pick an all time favorite book.
Do you believe that aspiring writers should read as much as they can?
I don’t see how it could hurt if they did read. It is a way of learning more.
What time of day do you do the most of your blogging?
I don’t have a set time of day. Sometime it’s in the morning sometimes it’s in the middle of the day and sometimes it’s at night it just depends on when I am in the mood to work on it.
Is there one particular blog post that you’re really proud of? (Share a link to it – I’d love to read it if I haven’t already!)
Hmm. I’m proud of all of my posts because I have actually stuck to this even though I know my posts are nowhere near as good as other bloggers. I will say that I am not the greatest at writing reviews and one of the reviews I wrote that I was actually proud of was the one I wrote for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
What is one thing that you have learnt since starting your blog?
I’ve learned that even though I am not the greatest at this whole reviewing thing it’s ok because as long as you are yourself people will except you.
Do you keep to any kind of a blogging schedule?
Not really. I post whenever I have something to post. Usually its just Monday-Friday sometimes more sometimes less.
If you could send a message to your past self, what would you say?
I would tell my younger self to not pay any attention to what other people say/think about you because soon they want matter.
Do you have any regrets that you want to share?
No sorry
Congratulations.
